HIV in Burundi
Regine Karikurubu (28yrs) lives in a makeshift suburb of Gitega, Burundi. She is eight months pregnant and lives with her daughter Beatrice (7 years). She says, “I want to have a caesarean so that the baby doesn’t get infected with HIV.”
