Cross Channel Swimmers

Over 8,000 people have attempted the worlds most prestigious and hazardous open water swim. To date only 945 have succeeded. It is the ‘Everest’ of open water swimming. The 19 nautical miles across the English Channel attracts swimmers from across the world. One woman has led the way, swimming the channel 41 times. Billed as the ‘Queen of the Channel,’ Alison Streeter’s determination and achievements put her in a league of her own.
