Omak Suicide Race

The Omak Suicide Race is the last of the great horse races. Young Native American Indian competed over four races to become the strongest, bravest warrior horseman.

Plunging their horses 210 feet down ‘Suicide Hill’ into the Okanogan River, and across to the Omak Stampede Arena. Like their forefathers before them, these young warriors compete in a ‘Rights of Passage’ race that is seen as the ‘World most dangerous horse race.’
